Our time together will be spent learning about and discussing the neuroscience of equity and inclusion. Diversity, inclusion, psychological safety, and belonging are not just trendy training topics. They are the bedrock of an organizational culture that positively impacts all the metrics that matter. Inclusion is a high priority for many companies, but new research suggests initiatives to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion tend to have the opposite effect. This session will create more of an awareness of how we are wired, we why behave the way we do when we are confronted by the things that threaten our core needs including racist behaviors, intentional and unintentional, with an outcome of setting shared language for the audience to then better communicate and apply those concepts in moments of conflict
